Blogging Chums Award!

Blogging Chum Award

It’s been a while, but I got nominated for an award! This is the Blogging Chums award and I’d like to thank the nomination from Xena at We Hold These Truths to be Self-Evident! She’s an amazing blogger and I’ve had many intelligent conversations with her on that site. Thanks, Xena!

This logo for the award was created at Dressing to Impress and the award itself was created by beams19 at Crave the Unknown.

Here are the rules:

“This may seem like a bit of an odd award but I think it’s so important to tell the people closest to us how much we care about them, and in a world that is so full of hate and division, it’s the little things we do that can help make a big impact – so go tell someone you love them!

This award isn’t compulsory by any means but if you decide to take part, it would mean the world to me. I wonder if there will ever be a day when I’m scrolling through WordPress Reader and I see the Blogging Chum Award floating around on other blogs!”

The Rules:

  1. Be sure to use the award image!
  2. List the rules & about paragraph!
  3. Thank whoever nominated you!
  4. Write a letter to someone who means a lot to you to spread some positivity around the Internet – anyone will do!

5. Nominate 5-10 more people for the award and go let them know about it in their comments!

Here’s my letter. I’m going to cheat a little bit and mention this letter to my real friends and those who’ve supported my art.

I just want to say thank you for supporting me when I don’t even deserve it. For the longest time, I had to work hard at proving myself (dare I say, prove my humanity) to everyone I met. I thought of myself as worthless for the longest time, and it’s a miracle that anyone would want to see the good in me.

Whenever anyone checked out my Ospreyshire songs/poetry, my video works, my reviews involving obscure movies, my books, or my thoughts on this fallen world we live in, it feels great. I know I haven’t been as active with blogging as much as I was last year, but I hope I’ve made some quality content.

Thank you.

Here are my nominees…

2. Keiko
3. Scottie
4. Scott
5. Moyatori
6. Raistlin
7. Madekesiworld
8. Simoneteffect
