Some positive vibes came my way, but…

I can’t say I’m genuinely happy most of the time, but it did happen. It felt great when people have been encouraged by me in an unexpected way. It was also great being encouraged by some people that I know.

This was all fine and good, but I haven’t been too creative besides my poems on here. Part of me feels like I’m being lazy of sorts given the original concept of this blog. I won’t be posting as often on this blog, but maybe once or twice a week. We’ll see what happens.

Being creative is really hard especially when it’s the Ospreyshire-type of creativity. Mine isn’t better than anyone’s, but it is very different.

  1. It takes time to rejuvenate that spark in my experience. Definitely if you have to change gears if needed w.r.t posting. I myself have been posting once a week since I started just to balance myself with what’s going on, so if you need to do that then by all means go for it ๐Ÿ˜Š

I hope your situation gets better too and you continue to find some happiness.

  2. I totally get that feeling, man. You can’t force creativity, so you don’t, and then you feel like you’re not doing enough when you can’t be creative and that makes you feel worse, and it’s a spiral from there. I’ve been faltering in my posts and I haven’t drawn for months now because of that. It sucks.

Take your time, go at your own pace and remember you *points* yeah, you, you’re good people. Keep being awesome. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Glad you can relate. That is very true about creativity and how you can’t force it. I’m sorry you’ve felt that way with your posts and art projects. I hope things look up in that regard.

Will do. I certainly have my own plans. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not depressed at all. I was happy that I was able to encourage some people this week and it was very interesting yet surreal getting a bunch of views from the UK on my other blog when my last Top 7 list came out (it makes sense in context). Thank you very much for encouraging me, Fiddletwix! I appreciate the kind words. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Sometimes stepping back, giving yourself room to breathe, making ‘me time’ is rejuvenating. Sometimes it’s essential to survival. Take care, my friend. Do what you need to … ye olde blog will still be here waiting when you feel like popping in.

  4. Your creativity will return. Be patient. Be open. Be receptive.

Itโ€™s elusive, isnโ€™t it? Iโ€™ve had very long droughts, and I take breaks from my blog and lose tons of followers. But like a plant, you prune the dead, and new life will bloom. In time๐Ÿชด๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ•Š
