#PreyingMissionaries Pt. II: Petition to get justice for the innocent Kenyan orphans abused by Gregory and Mary Rose Dow

https://www.change.org/p/kwitu-pa-kenya-women-in-the-us-pennslyvania-chapter-justice-for-kenyan-orphan-children

I’m glad there’s a petition for this case, too.

After watching the Preying Missionaries documentary on YouTube, I was beyond sickened by hearing the stories of those poor Kenyan children that were beaten, starved, raped, and some of them even killed by the Dow couple. It was even more infuriating that Gregory Hayes Dow was a registered sex offender and child molester (his victim was his own daughter, by the way) before opening up an orphanage in Kenya and got away with it for nine years.

Don’t you dare complain and cause a fit about Bill Cosby or R. Kelly when you stay silent about sexual abusers like the Dows or those who look like them. You are hypocrites and cowards if you do that. It makes me wonder if those same people barking about those two are getting away with violating children while accusing those of a certain complexion.

I hope justice can be done, so all those children can know something happened to these monsters who ruined their lives. I hope Gregory Dow and Mary Rose Dow serve hard time especially when there are people in jail who have served decades for non-violent crimes assuming if they were guilty to begin with.

Germany finally “apologizes” to Namibia?

This was certainly a surprise although not in the way that I had hoped.

Germany says they’re sorry to Namibia after committing genocide against that nation over a century ago. They’ve done things such as returning the skulls of the Namibians who were used in experiments and they’re just now returning Henrik Witbooi’s (a national hero for the Namaqua and Herero tribes) bible and whip back to their homeland.

That’s all well and good, but it’s is FAR from enough.

The Namibian Genocide was the first genocide of the 20th century as tens of thousands of people were slaughtered, raped, and starved out by the Germans who colonized their country and called it German Southwest Africa back then. This was perpetrated by the 2nd Reich who gunned them down and also used concentration camps such as Shark Island against the Africans. A whole bunch of people involved in that genocide would also be responsible for the Holocaust decades later. How is it that Germany is just NOW starting to say sorry? Is it because Namibia is rightfully suing that country to get reparations (which they totally deserve, by the way)?

More needs to be done. The real kicker was when the German politician is quoted saying “We can’t undo the past.”

I DARE her to say that to the families of Holocaust victims and see how it would turn out.

I hate this double standard of only giving reparations to everyone that suffered except any African ethnic or national group who suffered as well. Researching things like the Namibian Genocide only added to my anger against humanity as these people were killed while their oppressors never got punished for it. I’m sick of seeing innocent people like them get executed, get the Elephant Graveyard treatment (I’m going to keep reminding people about that analogy especially with Shark Island and also…screw Disney!), and sexually abused by the 2nd Reich. These atrocities should be talked about and I want the Namibians to get justice for what happened in their country.

NEVER FORGET!

An Apartheid agent confesses to using AIDS and other diseases as genocide against Africans

https://newafricanmagazine.com/cover-story-longread/we-deliberately-spread-hiv-aids-in-south-africa-former-apartheid-era-intelligence-service-officer-confesses/

Humanity can so demonic and this story only strengthens my belief on that matter.

There’s a new documentary called Cold Case Hammarskjold that’s been making the rounds in Sundance and other film festivals. One scene shows a confession from a White South African officer named Alexander Jones (not to be confused with that Infowars dummy) who fessed up that he and others put diseases across South Africa and other parts of the continent.

This is far too sickening and some of these following quotes should disturb you.

“Black people have got no rights, they need medical treatment. There is a white ‘philanthropist’ coming in and saying, ‘You know, I will open up these clinics and I will treat you.’ And meantime [he is] actually the wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

“We were at war. Black people in South Africa were the enemy…”

I’m beyond enraged at hearing this story and anyone with a shred of decency should be furious, too. The Africans have never done that to their European and American counterparts. I’m glad this news is coming out to expose how those diseases really got there in the first place. This depopulation agenda is quite infuriating, but the sad part is I see people even in 2019 that would cheer this devil. They even mention Rhodesia (the country now known as Zimbabwe) which only adds fuel to the fire when those people wanted a White ethnostate in Africa. Keep in mind this is the same former country where Dylann Roof repped the flag of that nation mixed with the Apartheid-era South Africa flag and the Confederate flag in those pictures.

Maybe in addition to wanting an ethnostate with their germ warfare, they would probably want to wipe out a country to let the animals survive and name it Pride Rock. What, did that Disney potshot offend you more than this genocidal campaign? Yes, I’ve been on a bash-fest against that movie, but some things make you wonder…

Seriously, I’m so fed up about the diaspora and people on the African continent being demonized, derogated, and killed just because of their skin color and heritage. I could never in my heart of hearts do the kind of things these colonizers did even on my worst days. It’s been changing my worldview on so many levels and I’m tired of how apathetic or callous people are. I’m not just someone who talks about my music, books, or my reviews, you know. There are important things I care about.

The Old-Timers are back, BABY!

My friends in the Scottish/South African hardcore band The Old-Timers FINALLY released some new music in the form of a 4 song EP. It’s Short Sharp Shift and it’s 4 short songs and the whole EP is a minute and a half long. I’m glad Dave and Don are making music together again. Big props to ZAP Records to releasing this EP! It’s only $1 to buy. Come on, you can’t even get a song for that same amount of money, so support independent music.

Is the UN pressuring Belgium to pay off for what they did to the DRC?

This is a video I saw a few days ago, but I thought it would be good to share it on here with this blog.

What an interesting turn of events to say the least.

The UN is telling off Belgium to apologize and to pay reparations to the Democratic Republic of Congo. For those of you wondering why the DRC in particular, let me give you a breakdown of what happened. Belgium wanted to be a part of the Scramble for Africa and they managed to colonize what would be the DRC under the reign of King Leopold II. To the Belgians, he was known as “the builder king” as he did so many architecture projects in his home country and many of them are still up to this day. To the Congolese (or anyone with a shred of humanity), Leopold was a genocidal maniac. Him and his forces exploited the country for their natural resources, chopped off hands from those who disobeyed him, starved out and annexed several people like his own personal elephant graveyard where the Africans didn’t belong in his circle of life (I know that comparison was mentioned in an earlier article, but it bears repeating), and killed 10 million Congolese during his reign. Not to mention HE NEVER GOT PUNISHED FOR HIS ACTIONS! Can someone please explain to me why he’s never mentioned in the same sphere of infamy as Hitler, Pol Pot, or Stalin? Seriously, I never learned about this when I was in school.

A little side note about the middle of the video…that was the most satanic thing I have ever seen in my life. A guy dressed up in blackface while pretending to cry as a chocolate cake molded like a pregnant Black woman gets sliced by some attendees at a gala? How sick can you get? Shame on all of those people who did that.

Back to this story at hand, I do hope justice can be done. The DRC was exploited for far too long and I hope that their plight will be taken seriously.

NEVER FORGET!

Mozambique gets $7.8 Million in settlements from British gem company. A rare event, indeed.

British Firm Agrees to Pay £5.8m to Victims of Abuse in Mozambique

First of all, I’d like to give props to Dr. Y and Dr. Mumbi Seraki for covering this story. Please check out the video and link above.

I couldn’t believe this just happened recently. In Mozambique, there are several ruby mines that got in control by Gemfields which is a British gem company. The problem is that their employees have physically and sexually abused the Mozambican people around the fields. They actually settled for $7.8 million for all the families of the victims. I’m shocked that a major company would give out that much money to all of those people. This is unheard of especially in an African nation where certain individuals and companies get away with atrocities like this all the time.

I’m ambivalent about what happened. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad the victims are getting compensated for all of the suffering that happened to them. However, I think Gemfields should’ve paid way more since that amount is a drop in an ocean given their net profits. At least some justice was done, and I hope this starts a trend for the better, so no company gets away with it.

Mr. Leo “Pray”

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything on this blog.

Some of you may know that I’ve been getting more into African music and even more recently into movies made in that continent. Even though I’ve never been to Africa, I come from a multi-ethnic family and I did a DNA test where one of my results from my maternal side came up as Cameroonian among other ethnic groups in Africa and Europe. I decided to check out the music from that country and stumbled across Mr. Leo. I first heard the song “Pray” and found it touching given that country’s situation currently with the conflicts involving the French-speaking Cameroonians and the English-speaking ones where there have been fatalities. It saddens me how there have been divisions like that in this post-colonial landscape. Luckily, there are people in that country who hate the bloodshed and see each other as brothers and sisters despite what languages they speak. It certainly hit my heart because these people could be distant relatives of mine in some way. I hope you check out this song.

Part of the song is in Banso which is one of the local languages in that country. I found translated parts of that song which make it more heartbreaking knowing what everything means.

Amen chorus part:
Let us kneel down (Amen)
Let us keep praying that (Amen)
The day will soon be clear
Let us kneel down (Amen)
Let us keep praying that (Amen)
The day will soon be clear

Banso part of the 2nd verse:
If you are ignoring your brother
Beware, you are making a mistake
If you are chasing your brother away
Beware, you are making a mistake

Discovering Ethiopian Rap Music: Cypher Abyssinia 2016

Here’s a quick post that some of you may be interested in.

I haven’t spotlighted many musicians outside of ZAP Records (the label I’m affiliated with), but I thought I would branch out by discovering some music off the beaten path. You’ve all noticed that I’ve been talking a bunch about Africa lately with some various news sources going on there, but I thought I would change it up with their music scene. I’ve been listening to some pop music in Africa mainly in Ethiopia, Eritrea, Ghana, and Togo recently, but I randomly discovered this series of music. It’s called Cypher Abyssinia which is a yearly rap tradition in Ethiopia where their rappers spit some verses together. However, they aren’t rapping in English. It’s all in Amharic, one of the major languages in that country. For those of you that don’t know, that’s the same language that The Weeknd used in the outro to his song “The Hills” (he’s Ethiopian-Canadian, for those that didn’t know), and the alphabet used in that language (Ge’ez script) is one of the inspirations of the Wakandan alphabet in Black Panther. It sounds really cool hearing rap music in an African language. Bonus points for incorporating traditional rhythms and melodies while mixing it with a hip-hop beat. Feel free to check it out!

More Racist Crap Afflicts Africa (Kenya and Uganda [once again])

This just never stops, does it?

I recently heard about these stories when I did more research on African news.

This first story involves Kenya. As you may or may not know, China has been doing business in several African countries. This idiot who calls himself a businessman named Liu Jiaqi decides to bash Kenya, their president, and dares to call the people “monkeys”. Thank God, the government had enough sense to deport his sorry behind back to where he came from. Devils like him have no business in Africa. I also noticed how he was silent about the Kenyan guy asking why he didn’t want to do business in America or Europe. You know very well Jianqi would NEVER pull that mess on White people, and that’s a fact.

The second story involves Uganda again. Some of you might remember a story I linked to not too long ago where that redneck so-called pastor called those Ugandan hotel workers the N-word and straight up assaulted one of the employees. Unlike that story, we have Chinese businessmen doing some illegal mining, get called out on their criminal activity, and now these investors act like petulant children by attacking the local politicians. At least these Ugandans fought back and are going to throw charges at them. They need to punish these businessmen and make an example of their devilry. Show them who’s boss. They should kick them out of the country and say “you will not disrespect us here”. I would bet you money if some African did the same thing in China, you know they would be swift and harsh in punishing that individual.

Racism just makes me sick and not just because I’ve had to deal with it. These are people in power who think they can abuse whoever seems “lower” then them. Much like the racist pastor, these bigwigs are nothing but man-children and parasites. People just need to grow up and respect others regardless of their skin color.

A Racist Idiot Goes to Uganda

[Warning: The above video contains strong language, racial slurs, violence, and making genocidal threats against Ugandans]

The level of stupidity is freaking mind-blowing, but I’m no longer surprised especially in this sociopolitical climate.

So there’s this pastor named Jimmy Taylor from Arizona who was there to do some missionary work in Uganda. While he was in Kampala (the capital and largest city), this Jimmy Taylor ignoramus freaks out and goes on a racial tirade while also assaulting a hotel employee. Thankfully, he got arrested in Kampala where he will be tried.

Anyone who knows me knows that I cannot stand racism. Whether it’s posting on here, my fiction projects, or even my film and anime reviews, should know that I don’t play around with that crap. I’ve lived through it, been discriminated, and I know I’ve been treated worse than my Caucasian counterparts in my life.

It was painful watching that video, and I had ambivalent feelings about Francis (the victim) dealing with Jimmy Taylor. I get that the employers may have fired him if he dared to fight back, but if that were me, then I would be so tempted to throw hands to defend myself. Come on, everyone. If the races were reversed and if some Ugandan guy decided to insult some Caucasians in America and assaulted the staff, he would be beaten or even killed by the police and that’s a fact. The level of entitlement and arrogance from Jimmy Taylor just sickens me. Why aren’t more people speaking out against this bigot?

The people of Africa did a great job for making this video go viral and Dr. Mumbi Seraki did a great story about this on her YouTube channel. I’ve certainly learned more about African news and culture watching her stuff online. People need to call out these racists.
