The magnolias wither by every drop
Throttling the life out of the purest essences
Erasing souls slowly in the city with soul
While seen in Flint before
The environment is larger
The eighty percent are afflicted
Like in other cities and towns (regardless if they get reported)
The situation is at a crossroads
Not just the moniker in this part of the South
Bottles become treasures and lifelines
For something that is a human right
As they drown in carcinogens
Watch the outrage should this happen in Madison
Or other hubs where melanin is lacking in the majority
How many of the aforementioned regions had this happened for this long?
Environmental apartheid strikes again

I’ve been hearing so many double standards going on with the Ukraine/Russia situation and I’m sick of it.
I know I haven’t been posting as much on this blog, but that doesn’t mean I’m ignoring what’s been happening. In this case, we’re talking about the Russia-Ukraine War going on now. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not getting any sadistic pleasure in seeing people suffering and this is a serious situation. The more I’ve been researching about this conflict, I’ve been getting angry. I saw the videos of African students and immigrants getting denied access to evacuate, a story about Ukrainian soccer fans in 2020 praising Derek Chauvin during a game despite the protests happening worldwide, talks about Ukrainians getting reparations, or the constant dog whistles and foghorns about the Ukrainian refugees being treated with such sympathy because they have “blond hair and blue eyes”, are from a “civilized” country, are Europeans from middle or upper-middle-class backgrounds, or how they aren’t like Arabs or Black people from wartorn countries. No, I’m not supporting either side. Putin invading that country is certainly bad which I won’t dispute, but the racism I’ve been hearing from Ukraine and the Western media never giving the same sympathy to refugees from non-white countries is infuriating. Now, Ukraine is asking Africans to fight for them? I’m glad there are people refusing and some even know the history worldwide. It’s not their fight. It’s not even limited to that Eastern European country. You can go back to the American Revolutionary War where the first fatality was Crispus Attucks, a Black man. Civil War? The Black soldiers weren’t treated that well and some went to the concentration camp known as The Devil’s Punchbowl. Both World Wars? Black soldiers never got the benefits from the GI Bill and you even had people LYNCHED IN UNIFORM! Even in Europe, they were mistreated and killed by the same armies they fought for. Thiaroye Massacre for example? I rest my case. I’m sick and tired of this blatant bigotry going on with this already tension-fraught war going on. Like Phillip said, I don’t want to see anyone suffering, but I can’t stand the hypocrisy going on.
Stupid Spring Breakers
Of course, they would just call it a “mayhem”
Pandemic or not
If it was others, then it would be “looting”
Restaurants and hotels become battle zones of those trying to party all the time
More than Eddie Murphy in the 80s
Collective facepalms are all around in the Southern coast
Sorry to hear that when it comes to the innocent in the Sunshine State
Stupid snowbirds certainly ruin tons of things
In Response to Those Selectively Saying “Be Kind”
The selective logic just became more obvious
Those who thought the former duchess was attention seeking
Were the same who sobbed about Robin Williams and Chester Bennington to name a few
Saving face was the name of the game
As people become keyboard mental health activists of convenience
Where was MY sympathy whenever I spoke up about my issues years ago?
I wouldn’t be surprised if my former bouts of self-harm made certain people ecstatic
Mental health only mattered to some
As the addendums don’t need to be addressed explicitly or reverse engineered dog whistles
Others should be thankful I’m not a troll or a bully
Who knows what psychological damage I could do if I was good at insulting others
Maybe being kind wasn’t as much of a weakness (even with my bouts of solipsism)
Digital facades have always been on parade
As I’ve seen those who’ve said “Be kind!”
Have been total douchebags offline and/or online
Spare me the fake encouragement
Diol Family, You Are Not Forgotten
Moving from the Green Star all the way to the Centennial State
Starting a new life for this family of five
All for a fatal blaze to snuff out these innocent souls
The injustice was a mile high like the city they resided
Parents and children all destroyed by satanic teens in masks
While the flames were from the igniting bigotry
One suspect didn’t fit the narrative of the conglomerates
As it was contrary to an unrelated isolated incident to fuel propaganda
Thank the Divine they’ll face justice as adults while living to tell about it
Others have been erased despite never slaughtering men, women, and children
Diol family, you didn’t deserve this
May your murderers face the most severe of consequences

Morose Permeation
All it took was a revealed cover-up and one Tartaros of a sellout
The Bluegrass State never saw such a miscarriage
The ire magnified across the country
Was $12 million really enough for them in dealing with Breonna Taylor’s death?
Tell me if Justine Damond’s family got the same treatment
The insanity in this country wouldn’t stop there
There wasn’t a debate, but a yelling match between the two
Even pro wrestling promos had more sense and civility than that gaffe
Dog whistles and lack of policy questions were all it was about
Next thing, I know one was tested positive
But I thought it would just go away or possibly a hoax, right? (sarcasm)
These events indirectly added to the frustration
All I could see was a hopeless future
The lack of responsibility and equality was enough to darken my soul
My mind could only ruminate and catastrophize
I really am pathetic, aren’t I?
No matter how productive I am, I only saw bleak things
