I finally reached number twenty doing this Katauta 52 thing. I felt a bit positive today…
The stairs ascend as well as my stress.
I could only make a quick Katauta today.
I changed the filter this time around to match this colorful katauta wth the lyrics I crafted.
The light demands for people to see it through as they are drowned by fake luminescence from mass deception.
I finally had enough time for using an instrument for once given my schedule.
It was fun doing a minimalistic piece with a chord I’ve never used before. I’ll see if I can use instruments more often if time allows.
15 weeks already? Alright then.
Here’s a spoken word piece I came up with for today. It’s been rough not having as much time to do as much musical compositions given my current schedule, but I said I would do one video a week for this project.
Time was of the essence again, so I did a straight up spoken word track while messing around with some 8mm stuff.
What’s up, everyone?
I wanted to let you all know that I’m part of another compilation album called Hollerin Poets Vol. 2. It’s a spoken word compilation album that’s a free download on Bandcamp. My buddy Josh Mozug AKA Tirades of a Timid Tongue curated this album and it also features one of his poems in addition to works from Chris Bernstorf, Keyoung, and Levi the Poet among others. I debuted a new track which is an exclusive on it.
Not only that, but Josh interviewed me which has never been done before. Listen to me make a fool of myself and stumble over my words while trying to give some insight about random things.
It’s still Wednesday, so there was some time for me to record a katauta.
This is another vocal-only piece. Given how certain life changes have caused me to have less recording time, I could only churn this out and it reflects in this poem. I still have to make my goal though.
I also realized that I’m 1/4 of the way done with this project!
Life has been rough and hectic these past couple of weeks which I won’t get into.
I wasn’t able to write and record a katauta until about an hour ago, so I did a vocal only piece as it was storming (and still is at the time of this post) an hour ago.
Pardon my hastiness.
