This is an older story, but people should still know about the situation with shooting victim Coby Daniel

It’s infuriating with the sound of crickets over the past few months.

Back in June in Ypsilanti, MI, a 6 year old boy named Coby Daniel was shot in his neighborhood. The shooter was none other than Ryan Le-Nguyen. He got such a soft bail with paying 10% of the $10K bond in jail. This hasn’t received much mainstream attention even though it was attempted murder of a child. Exactly why would anyone assume a 6 year old to be a possible threat? However, it doesn’t fit the current narrative given the ethnicity of the victim and the assailant respectively. No, I’m not disrespecting anyone’s race or trying to fuel tensions. Let’s be honest about this current climate. If a Black man shot an Asian boy, then this would be worldwide news and felony hate crime charges would have been pressed instantly. I wouldn’t be surprised if Coby was scarred physically and mentally after that encounter. It’s a shame how people have been so quiet about this story and I hope the Daniel family is able to get justice. It’s a shame how this society only cares about certain crimes over others even if a child is shot. I don’t want to rant on. I just want justice to prevail.
